I guess I could get some on christmas if the weather permits by me.

I doubt it will show much as my paint is in decent shape as is so just washing it makes it shiny enough. But I'll do it for you <3

So ill show a pre wash, post wash, and post wet paint.

Also in my experience the day after a wax, or in this case a wet paint, shows the most shine. So i'll try a pic of that as well.

I use Blackfire Wet Diamond Paint Protection once a year with Chemical Guys XXX carnauba as well. 3 washes a month. Each wash I use Nanoskin Nano Shock spray as a drying agent. No water spots, great shine and I find that it actually protects the wax. With this method, my baby always has that wet glossy finish.

Yeah I wax 4 times a year and wash when ever I can. I use an assortment of products. My favorite is a hydrophobic wet polish I put on after a good wax. For the first two months after I apply it I just power wash it with soapy water at the coin wash down the street and dry. 99% of the dirt just falls off and I dry. A typical I'm between wash takes me about 10 minutes and my paint always feels like glass with soapy water on it.

You accept the fact that your car requires waxing based purely on faith and superstition?

If, in fact, it is a fact, it would remain so regardless of my acceptance.

Actually, I believe waxing is only required for atheistetics but I can't prove it.

Hey, I wax more often than that. If it weren't dark out I'd show you how shiny it is. I could take a picture of my own genuflection.

Same here. When I put the deposit down.. I said I do all my own work, I won't need it. Came back a week later to buy and they were like.. "well, it was already applied to the car.. so, there's nothing we can do. +$500."

One quick polish and I'm pretty sure it was gone. Oh well.

I used Optimum Gloss coat. It's like consumer grade Opticoat, 2 year protection. Sides and rear of the car have held up great 2 years. I notice the front bumper and hood basically need a new coat after winter. Usually I polish much of the car every spring and then reapply. Decent product.

I use Optimum Car Wax. Doesn't really hold on top of the coating, but it's added security if the coating is wearing away or if I missed a spot. It's a really amazing product, and so dang easy. You can wax an entire car in 20 minutes. Waxing door jams and wheels is a breeze. I will never use paste wax again.

And of course I wash with ONR maybe once a week. The paint is still beautiful after 36k miles, so the method is working for me.
