I think the idea is that you turn it to face the car, not you

Now how in the hell are you going to keep it turned away from you, even if LEDs just shown out one direction -
What the hell is this! * first off, ol @Leonardo posts up a weird idea for a trouble light - and then just disappears. - * then ol @Ashikabi barges in and implies that I can't see or read - * then some newbie, @Hypnocracy spouts off with something about Batman - I'd him, but he hasn't been around long enough for me to figure out whether or not I like him. Now, I'm gonna take another dose of *** oil and pay my fucking bills - humfrz |

Hey old man! Haven't you seen one of these under the hood of an old F150? via Imgflip Meme Generator What am I going to use my new light for? Anything I need to light up in the dark, of course. Additionally, the tube that the led strip is in, is black on one half and clear on the other. So, no glare in the face. I mean why does your trunk need a light, if YOU have a flashlight? Now that I have a light permanently attached, it WILL be there when I need it. Unlike the flashlight, tire pressure gauge, insurance card, or whatever else is Supposed to be in my glove box. OOOPS! LOL! EDIT: PICS I have the black side of the tube facing out. It blends in...

Today I found out my new HID kit (that I bought like 6 months ago) had a bad bulb and bad ballast now that I finally went to install it.
Thankfully it's lifetime warranty, but more bummed my old HID kit had a ballast fail after 5 years and the company isn't around anymore |

I drove it for the first time in over 3 months... Subaru took forever to put in a new engine. But hey it was covered under warranty so that's good.

In preparation for my HID kit coming from The Retrofit Source I removed my bumper and headlights.
Then opened up the headlights and removed the halogen projectors. I noticed that my high beam bulbs are in pretty bad shape. They're almost entirely black and the glass is bubbled. While I have the headlights apart I plan to paint the chrome bezel. I'm not going to paint the reflector since I enjoy having high beams. Does anyone have any tips/tricks for removing the old headlight sealant? |

I know the old sealant is reusable (that's what everyone did with no issues in the DIYs I read), but I sprung the extra $12 for the "retro rubber" when I bought my kit from TRS. I want to remove the old sealant so I can apply the new stuff for some extra piece of mind and so I don't end up wasting $12.
