Off topic, but you upgraded the Accord to the new 2018 WRX STI? Nice!

GLWS for the fit!

Thanks!

Yeah, well I wanted a family car that would be fun, manual and comparable to the FRS in 4 door form. Also I wanted something that I wouldn't need to modify. (Though in the future it will become a project car and you can bet Fujitsubo will be one of the first parts) My first car actually was a 2002 WRX, so this is like nostalgia overload haha.

I originally had bought the Honda Fit as a winter car since I stored my FRS, but plans have changed since I noticed every time I buy a car and say I'll keep it over and not drive it in the winter....I end up selling it >__< (Example,WRX, FRS)...I missed out from winter fun in those cars.

Yeah, I plan to keep this STI forever also...but I'm going to enjoy it all season this time around and not make that mistake of storing the cars in the winter.

Anyways, main reason why I no longer need the Honda Fit and selling it.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, not to throw in another variable here, but wouldn't you want the 2019/2020 STi if it actually comes with a new engine. There has been speculation for some time that the engine is going to change... finally

I prefer the EJ25 engine. Just feels more Subaru and nostalgic to me. I don't really care about the latest and greatest tech on cars (I still use a CD Player) hence why I bought a base 2018 STI and why I bought a Base FRS. I'm oldschool

+1 for base models, I too went base for my 86.

No personal experience with the FA20DIT vs EJ25, but from what I have read, the FA20 appears to be stronger than the EJ. What about the EJ makes it more desirable to you than possibly another modified FA20 engine? Just curious

I wanted something that I wouldn't have to modify from the factory. It's a great car in stock form without having touch anything.

The main issue with the WRX with the FA20 is that it has a lot of Rev Hang.

Sure, maybe you can modify it and make it amazing, but I don't want to modify the car, so when comparing in stock form I believe the STI was the better decision for me and my needs
