This dude's my hero. He makes my turbo anxiety go away lol

The biggest thing I will stress.....tune. A proper tune is key and will ensure long life vs grenaded engine. So get a good tune and should be no worries. Took me over a year to get the right tune and spent close to $2000 just to get there. Of course this was almost 3 years ago, so not many tuners around at all. Now there are many more options.

Truth! I went through a few visconti tunes NA, two tunes from AVO and now run a delicious flash and go tune, which is working great.

Hey everyone,

Just though I would share a graph of a AVO kit I installed and helped tune for someone recently:

*Stock car does around 125kw+- and 190nm at that dyno.
Low boost = pump
High Boost = pump + octane booster.
Our pump fuel is equivalent (worse actually ) to California 91.

There is a good 20kw still to be had at the same boost level but the 5PSI actuator isn't holding boost at higher RPM's on high boost and there is still some room for it to be leaned out - having said that, its probably a decent amount of torque already for the stock rods to handle, but I guess we could always play with how we ramp it up - the owner however is SUPER happy with the current power levels...for now.

The car is VERY quick on the street with all the torque where you need it. Really going to miss not driving this one!

I'm guessing you're having problems getting replies from Paul @ AVO

No, I just remember how when I was first installing my kit, I needed replacement parts and was willing to pay but never got responses. No disrespect to AVO, just wanting to hear other people's experience with their customer support

Probably not helpful given that I'm in the same country as AVO's head office... But their customer service has been nothing short of amazing for me.

I have another question. Does anybody else's car feel like it's stuttering a little while going wot? Could it be turbo lag or fuel cut?

Personal advice... Don't ask people over the internet "my car feels like this... What's wrong?" Take your car to a mechanic/workshop that you trust. If you don't have one, find one. Things go wrong with modified cars and internet mechanics can lead you down the garden path and cost you money you need not have spent. If you can't find a mechanic at the very least find someone near you knowledgable about cars that you can ring up and take for a spin in your car.

It could be a multitude of things and you haven't given us enough background... You've had your turbo on for years, has it always felt like this or is it a recent thing that's developed? Besides the kit what have you done (injectors, fuel pump, spark plugs etc)? Has it been tuned properly for what you've done or have you been using flash tunes? Have you regularly serviced your car, is it due for a service? How's your clutch? How much boost are you running? Has there been any fault lights or problems other than "stuttering?" Have you logged the problem and sent it to your tuner/have you spoken to your tuner about it? When you say stuttering do you mean it's just slow to accelerate or does the engine drop revs/make funny noises? Is it as simple as your tires breaking traction when you plant your foot?
