Yes, I believe so. I haven't actually removed it and put the plastic piece back on but if look at this link here on page 4, step 2 you will see 4 red circles on the top of the plastic piece picture. The two outer ones will need bolts placed their instead of the plastic push pins as their are rivets located there now. You can further see why in step 3's photo.

For anyone wondering, the race upgrade is up on ft86speedfactory. I just ordered mine and pm'ed @eric6 since I'm an early adopter and need the template to drill for the vanes. Definitely excited to get it in and installed, been babying it a bit since reinstalling the street version.

Thus far I have @Kwaziekeller, @jbravo373, and @kster1 for receiving templates. I'm working with office max to print off full scale drawings. First attempt failed... but I have faith in the second attempt which I am to pick up in a little.

Just to re-iterate, this is for the early adopters that have the *no* engravings on their splitters. If you do not have any engraving (their should be ten of you, and that is it), you will need to PM your address for the template for the race add on.

If you are one of these ten, then yes, please PM me your address. Otherwise, you already have engraved markings for where to drill the holes and those are easier to follow then the template.

@Kwaziekeller, @jbravo373, and @kster1, your templates are in the mail. The template lined up perfectly the second time around. It is for half the splitter, the splitter is a mirror image so flip this paper over and you can do the other side as well. It should be fairly self explanatory as their are 8 holes that don't line up with anything... those are the ones to drill. Everything else should line up with the splitter you received.

As per Erics post looks like it weighed in at 2.xx lbs.

We put it as 10lbs as after packaging, box size, dimensional shipping costs, that's how we get our website to give the correct shipping estimates. Just a workaround on our side for shipping costs on odd shaped items that require special boxes and etc.

Well some of us have a few extra holes already lol

My order should be in Friday, and I should be installing the splitter ties Saturday and swapping diff/trans fluids. I'll let you know if I have any problems/suggestions. If the template is in, I will do it all, but I'm in no rush.

PS... I know for a fact that I won't push the limits of the race upgrade, only N/A still.

The splitter is right under 10 pounds. It's a rather large piece of material.

The add-on bits such as the tie rods, mounting brackets, and vanes are 2lb.
