I would be careful, it has been a long time, but I remember someone melted off their rear bumper and did some damage to inside of their trunk....then again I think that guy did a track day without his full exhaust

you will get a LOT of exhaust inside tho...

Also, JP was right, sounds like your heat shields ticking away. Our cars have little sound deadening, so we hear it all.

In other newsManual Boost Controller installed last night, car drives pretty insane now. Boost response is way up and power feels amazing compared to before. Very happy with this (Tho I did manage clutch slips in 5,6 gears last night on highway pass pulls...sooo may need a exedy or something down the road)

I really like how it sounds and I'm excited to weld up my exhaust! Got some 4-1/2" burnt tips to weld on it as well. Haha I won't be doing a track day, just a 5 min drive to work then home and the pipes get welded up with my MIG.

I actually didn't hear the noise till I got out of my car after parking it in my garage but the contracting and contorting of the heat shield sounds right. My garage really amplifies sounds so that's why I thought it might be oil dripping throughout the engine.

Also nic, any chance you can make it to the meet in moose jaw this Sunday? I'd love to see your build!

Well I got the main portion of the exhaust done tonight, its a hack job, using whatever assortment or couplings and adapters part source has. When my other tip comes I'll throw the other pipe on, just going to weld on a hanger and bolt it up for now. Had to do many build up beads to fill in the gap of the inaccurate measurements on the pipes tags
