Went to the Track again last night for street to strip.

Ran a 15.8
Launched at about 4500RPM with 50% dump and trottle modulation.
Removed all the shit in the trunk.
1/4 tank 93 with octane booster.
tire pressure lowered to 1.6 psi

Just happy i broke 15's!

Well it's been 8 months since this was mentioned.

Anyone done it or gotten close? IMO, given my experience it's going to take more than slicks and 20whp to drop 8/10th's. This is based on 14.7 being listed as the fastest time in this thread and the person I quoted making reference to the 14.7 time.

If you want to hit a 13.XX without FI I'd suggest using a setup like the Robispec car - drastic weight reduction, suspension, tires, more power and a driver mod would make the car come close to the 13's.

There is a video of an FRS with exhaust and E-85 tune that ran a 14.4 with a 2.2 60ft. I don't think it should take that much to get into the 13's. I have seen plenty of stock S2000's run low 13's with about 200-210whp and 130's wtq. We have a small weight advantage and aero advantage, but they do have more aggresive gearing.

^^ Shave the 60' down to 2.0 and that's a 14.0, better tires should get it in the 1.8 range and into the 13's.

With sticky tires and a good driver it should totally be doable. You can hit a 2.0 on sticky street tires with a FWD car with a good driver.

I've pulled plenty of 2.0's in my '02 SE-R. I pulled a 1.91 in my 1JZ Celica Supra on oem 14" wheels and tires.

This car is pretty easy to launch. I'd have no problem running a 14.7 in it.

Once the track opens, I am goin to see what I can get.

With my G-tech I pulled a 5.8 0-60 and a 14.2 qtr mile.

I have used the same G-tech at the track already and the time was dead on, just the mph was off?

Wow! Dude 14.2 is awesome for the minimal mods you've done. What is your KW or HP output now after the mods?

The last time at the dyno was 184/154. with one 5th gear pull at 191.

I think with the latest tune I am making a little more. I will probably go back to the dyno after the Borla header is in.
