You know I thought about your question again and I would say this:

If you want a really modern looking sports car, go with the lower ride height and bigger wheel setup with full body kit, either no rear spoiler or larger rear wing (this is the only way to go if the car has a high belt line like most of the new stuff out there).

My car probably resembles the classic JDM factory look of late 20th century; smaller wheels, front lower spoiler only without the rest of the body kit, some wheel gap and a modest rear spoiler. Something like what a FD RX-7 or S14 Silvia would look like straight from the factory.

This is why I always thought the Series.Blue doesn't look right with that big wheel gap and small looking wheels due to the full body kit.

You know it's funny you say that. I am all about the modern. The more complex and interesting the shapes and forms with low stance and large wheels the better. It's a super car thing...

None-the-less I understand where you're coming from and what your taste is.

I imagine you're a lover of the classic z cars no doubt???

Any chance of a small DIY in the future? Maybe just in terms of reading and interpreting the templates? I'm sure its safe to say I am not the only one who doesn't understand Japanese. Thanks!

I didn't take pictures step by step but the overall process is pretty straightforward. As always with STi, it comes with pinpoint templates for mounting (it's actually amazing when everything lines up because you're drilling both the top and bottom of the trunk). I'll take pictures of what the mounting points and drilled holes look like when I get a chance

Nice, thank you. Pictures of how the templates look would be super beneficial.

Anyone have guesses on the lead time for when parts are available after the October release of the 2015 tS? How long has it taken in the past for parts to hit japanparts after a release?

I wasn't around when the 2013 tS released so
