10.24.15

Was invited to the CUSCO USA office/garage this past weekend!
@Choco, @Tart, and I had the opportunity to visit and work on my car.
A big thank you to Mr. Inoue for the opportunity and Moto san for working on my exhaust!

Inoue-san & Moto-san are awesome! They're both crazy hard working busy ppl.

At one event, I help Moto-san coordinate and man! Man! That man doesn't sleep!! Some days, I wonder if he's real human or robot/cyborg. lol

Put the joke on the side, I do respect Moto-san, he's very good person.

Making some progress on the fiberglass cover piece.

Here is a photoshop on what I plan for it to look like all finished.

I used a 1mm felt spacer around the perimeter when I molded for material allowance when I wrap it.

Still not 100% confident it's gonna turn out.. I'll know by this weekend

What is your planned method for fixing it to the door panel?

I'm thinking Dap Weldwood HHR around the perimeter and scor tape spaced in the center to prevent buzz/rattle

Garage

So I installed CWEST skirts and a NIA splitter.
(having the correct blue mixed for the side skirts as they do not come in the 2015 WR Blue)

35% tint on the sides and 25% on the rear.

Skunk2 Pro C's

I installed the Ptuning sway bar kit and Whiteline links. Just waiting for Ptuning to get their flex fuel kits ready and they are going to hook me up with their header as well but I refuse to do anything down line from the headers. Its hard to make a 4 cylinder sound good in the first place.

Ugh.... Just got hit by an SUV turning right very wide.
Worst part: it happened outside my apartment building (I was literally turning in to go home).

So close, yet so far.

On the plus side, got it on the dash cam (including the driver apologizing).
The damage didn't look too bad - but I'm sure it'll be a hassle (and I really didn't need this)....

I feel for you.

I just had my own encounter from a Rav4 that swiped me.
