It is quite amazing how well your car is holding up, but then again regular maintenance will do that

Michelin Cup 2018 Red Star Raceway. Time Attack.

Had a fantastic weekend at Redstar! Michelin Cup Round 7 was a blast. Was great to see Mr Eagle and all the others.
I really love Redstar, its safe and so you can really push past your limits without too much danger. So you can practice all the good stuff, like really late trail braking and then transitioning the weight by going straight onto full throttle. With semi slicks, track addict says i did 1.35 lateral G's. Dunno how true that is, but it does feel like it. I have learned so much about the 86 here, especially how to manage steering angle with the throttle. The car is so amazing the way it can respond mid corner, it feels like you always have a little wiggle room even when you ask too much from the tyres. I did improve on my personal best with a 2:20.110, I was hoping to break into the 19s but I did not manage on the day.
