I dropped my car off at the dealership for the recall. What recall thread should I post in? I can't seem to find the one I posted in before... This will have to do.

Freezing rain this morning. Did not crash on the way! They tried to give me a camry to drive. I refused. I like my AWD truck.

They said my car was going to be the 6th recall car they have done. They also agreed to put new spark plugs in for just the cost of parts. ($80) IMO, it's either a nice gesture for someone that bought a car at their dealership or the least they can do.

Happy Hump Day Ya'll!

The repair man said he wouldn't even bother coming out to look at it. So we've been keeping our frozen foods in coolers outside and everything else in boxes in the garage. Try buying a refrigerator when you need it RIGHT NOW! Many stores have big flyers with dozens of 'em on sale. The catch is NONE are in stock. Some they won't have until the end of April. Oh, and all new fridges are over 68 1/2 inches tall. Try squeezing that under a 68 inch high cabinet!
We finally found one that would fit under our cabinets. However, it's smaller than we had and has the double doors that we didn't want plus auto ice maker that we don't have a hook up for. But at least we get it this Friday and will not have to wait to the end of the month!

Did you ask them how many (if any) of the six cars had to be returned ?

Bummer. Hint: After 20 years, when you move the old unit out, be sure to have a pellet gun or club at the ready. Also, suck up all that stuff in a shop vac before it escapes -

Already done. Nothing was moving so I just swept it all up. Good Will are coming tomorrow to take both the broke fridge and our good working 20 year old stove. Wife said we should replace both at the same time. Made sense so I have all day tomorrow to scrub the floors clean.
Oh by the way this is Canada. I have to be careful what I admit to having and doing in my own home. We were the victims of a home invasion/robbery years ago and I learn far more than I wanted to about our dumb laws. Like, I can't have a baseball bat in my bedroom. It's considered a weapon if out in the open. It has to be in a closet or toy room behind a door to be considered sports equipment.

I did. The salesman told me, they have had no issues with any of the cars they worked on. But, he is a salesman, so....

Takes one to know one!

Just finished binge watching all seasons of the Flash last weekend. Loved it and now have to wait for the new ones to air each week. Tried watching Supergirl and it sucked so bad. That girl needs to be buried in Krptonite and forgotten. Will try the other Arrowvrese shows this weekend. Also started watching Timeline which is better than I thought it would be.

I was just told by the Subaru dealer 2 more months before they can get me in. It will for sure be blown up by then.

That's quite a wait! I waited about that long, I didn't want to be the first car in the shop for the recall.

I think the chance of it blowing up is very small. Additionally, if you are anything like me, you have been driving your car like it's icy out since getting the recall letter... So, the likelihood of "BOOM" is even smaller...
