Anything for $50 or less? I just want it to compare my gauge location to what the OEM location says on the track so a phone might actually be more ideal?

I'd check swappa.com for used android phones in that case.

If you live near me, a local store is selling refurbished Samsung galaxy 2 7" tablets for $150. They're white, but nothing some vinyl wrap scraps can't fix.

To get set up the easy way, without much fuss, you need A- a platform that supports Bluetooth, B- has Google-Play for app store.

Plenty of cheap tablets out there that don't support Bluetooth or have Google-Play. The only cheap one I've found (and was shortly sold out) was the Best Buy's cheap Chinese made 7" Double Power for $79. It is not discontinued, and no ETA, but they'll have it in stock some time in the future....

The problem with cheap tablets is glare, especially on the track on a sunny day.

Keep in mind that the mounts for these 7" tablets are not very sturdy, and track officials may take issues with the mounts.

5th 6.7
6th 9.3(not sure why it took that long)

My girlfriend put hess gas in my car i usually go shell or sunoco so im not sure if im running on crappy gas but doing the pull in 6th felt super sluggish
So I tried a few more pulls today with 3/4 a tank of gas. Times in 3rd, 4th, and 5th gears were all similar to my previous #'s. Pulls in 6th gear however varied from 8.2 - 9.3s. It seemed like they would lengthen to the 9s range if the road had any sort of incline.

Would one of those screen protectors help get rid of the glare? I know they make a bunch of 7" models, so you could throw one on there on the cheap and get rid of it once and for all.

A 4.5" android phone works just fine.. showing me 18 different readings/guages at the same time! Once you get familiar with looking at them, it's not as confusing as it first looks.

the phone stays very well secured in that location for me too!
No need to look at the factory "temperature" guage when I got the oil & coolant temp guages instead

This works for boost, but maybe someone can provide a more accurate method.

Settings - OBD2 Adapter Settings - Boost Calculation Method: Prefer MAF
Vehicle Profile - Boost Adjustment: 0, Volumetric Efficiency %: 100

I tick "Don't display psi as in/Hg" in Settings - Units and use a graph type "Turbo Boost & Vacuum Gauge" with a min value of 0.

This may be something recent, but the one I use is Transmission Oil Temp ( Method 3 ). There is some controversy about this as it may be the same as engine coolant.

It is labeled as transmission oil temp tho.

PID: 0105
Long name: Transmission Temperature ( Method 3 )
Short name: Trans
Minimum Value: 0
Maximum Value: 200
scale: x1
Unit: <degree sign, i don't have it on my keyboard>C
Equation: A-40
OBD Header: TCM

Was this a custom PID you added? I only see Method 1 & 2 on my Torque app.. I have the paid version too.

I don't see any reference to it in the shop manual.
