Garage
Spent a little time doing the DVD/NAV Bypass today. Really easy to do by the instructions here.

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15239

Take the single grey wire and ground it to the chassis of the radio. Splice into the Pink/Green wire out of the 27 pin and place toggle switch. So far I've left it off all the time and have had no problems with GPS.

Now I can watch Hyuna shake her ass while driving. Life is good.

I switched from winter to summer wheels last night. I always love the car, but it really is like a whole new car getting that summer tire grip back.

This an open HPDE put on by the Porsche Club?

On a side note. Took my lady out to wash the dust off and spotted a nice Black BRZ getting off 35W as I was getting on for a blow dry.

Seems like a school with some open track time.

Will have to check out the website, thanks for the info.

Did the Brainerd HPD class last year after the MAP weekend. Planning on doing the same this year. I'm thinking it's going to become a tradition.

If you're up for driving 5.5 hours, you can attend ITREXPO with the Honda guys at Road America. It'll be my first time going.

Hello Minnesota. I'm going to be moving up your way fairly soon. Technically I'll be in North Dakota, but I figured with the tuners in the Twin Cities (I know GrimmSpeed and FullBlown are there, any others?) and the fact that I have family there as well, it would be good to get in on the conversation here and introduce myself. Can't say I'm looking forward to parking my car for the winter, but it is what it is. So what's the scene like up there? I'm interested in car shows and autocross, mostly.

MAPerformance is also local.

There are two regular local meets that are pretty well attended by forum memebers.

-RiceKillers every Monday night starting 4/21 (it's kind of hit and miss)

-Cars & Coffee first Saturday of the month (almost always a good turn out)

Welcome!

You should come out to one of the meets I mentioned above. If your looking for something casual RiceKillers is pretty low key and there is usual at least a couple of forum members there. I know I'll be there on the 21st as long as the weather is halfway decent.

I'm also thinking of trying to get some of us together for brunch or dinner sometime soon now that the weather is getting nice.

Yep, we are here as well I try to make it out to as many events as possible. The car scene is great up here. Oh, and don't park your car in the winter if you don't want to. I daily my boosted FRS all year roundStop by sometime and I will show you around the shop!
