Moral of the video...Rain+VSC Off= Death.

Jokes aside, it was really interesting to see how each stage behaved. Thanks for the video Carbon!

Insane amounts of water on that skidpad!
Does not seem to represent wet road. It does seem to represent what easily happens if you are in some sort of huge puddle of water and tries to accelerate.
If it was not aquaplaning in some sort of way then the driver probably sucks..

Video confirms VSC works nice tough ! .. looked fun

They were probabaly driving badly on purpose to show how well the system works. I'm quite sure that even if that were ice, a good cautious driver could navigate that course with VSC/TCS off. But the point of the video was to show how well the systems work when the SHTF.

I'm relabeling my VSC SPORT button the DRIFT SMART button. The TRAC OFF button will become the DRIFT DUMB button.

The grip on that skidpad looks similar to ice with some sand on it. Almost no acceleration when the wheels are spinning.

There is no reason to take the TCS off during normal driving, but this video is also no reason to freak out in the rain... only ice/snow.

Cool video.

I think this shows the level of fun you can have with VSC Sport on while still having a level of safety, which is very important IMO to the potential 1st time RWD drivers who will be driving this car.

Even on public roads, probably better to keep VSC sport on just incase anything gets too crazy while driving spiritedly.
