1. Make sure all doors and windows are closed.

2. Fully open a window on one side of the car.

3. Repeatedly fully open and close a door that is opposite (and diagonal if 4-doors) of the open window.

This will force air to circulate inside the car, cooling things down much quicker than say turning the AC on full blast and waiting for 5-10 minutes before getting in.

Alternatively, get one of those expensive tints (3M Crystalline, Suntek CXP) and you won't have to worry too much about this. Also, it's not just the darkness of the tint that determines the amount of heat rejection. I have the 70% Crystalline (medium light) and it performs way better than my brother's super dark limo tint.

Late reply, that open close door technique works wonders after doing donuts and burnouts if the car gets filled with smoke, you see people doing it at drag strips

Though Lexus didn't enter Japan until the second decade of the millennium the ES300 was sold as a Windom in Japan. LS as a Celsior, GS as an Aristo, the SC was a Soarer, and of course we can't forget the IS infamous for those shitty ass lights, the Altezza. Of course you could get it in Japan with a 2.0 Turbo. The original Soarer was never sold in the US...model years prior to 90' which is a '91 in the US.

Lived in japan for 10 years so my knowledge and info is firsthand. I don't know everything, but I haven't memorized the JDM sites converted from Japanese to Engrish to be my source.

Just checked, Carista is free at the Play Store

Check a bit closer. To customize the features he mentioned, you must pay $20 within the app. Still seems worth it!

Downloaded the free app. Since I am sitting at my desk at work, cant link to OBD2 in car right now.

What are the paid features for the FR-S? Just wondering if it's worth it?

Is that a worker using gas to "clean" the car and putting it on the owner's bill?

I did it on impulse for a friend, the app is free but for the customization mode and not CEL troubleshooting you have to pay $20 it's totally worth it for the settings you can easily turn off

I'll try and remember, it was like seat belt ding disabling, a bunch of other safety beeps and buzzers, auto lock on exit disabl/enable, how long the lights stay on, how the defroster works (like when it turns on with a/c), Daytime running light on/off, how sensitive things will turn on at, stuff like that. Keep in mind this will work for most if not all scion, lexus, toyota, vw, audi and soon bmw vehicles, it's a one time payment for customization on those vehicles and all future ones I joined the beta group just to be able to send debug info in on my corolla so they can perfect that one too.

I just installed Carista to see what features are available for our cars. I have nothing to do with the app and I just want to share what I've found so far.
The app is free, but these features cost $20 to enable. It can also show CEL/ABS codes and clear them, and check to see if the each component of the car is ready for emissions testing.
