jack puck and pad

Hey everyone. As some of you know I moved from my Brz to a 17 Camaro for autocross. This past weekend at spring nationals someone in SSC came over and asked about my jack puck. Im sorry I didn't get their name but we were about to run so my mind was elsewhere. I rememeber from my Brz the pinch welds being super weak, especially at the fender and bending over. The Camaro is no exception so zl1 adding had developed these for our cars and a few others.

TheY work awesome, just don't forget to remove them before driving off!

Take care!

Mike

I use hockey pucks. Cut out a bit of the center, works great.

They seem to last 2-3 years on my regular wheel swapping.

What ever happened to using a piece of 2x4 with a slot cut down the middle?

I could see wood splitting a bit easier than pucks after some abuse, and also, you wouldnt have to use a spinning blade of death with electricity running through it to cut and slot said timber.

Or for the people that actually want to keep the pinch welds from looking like absolute garbage munched metal.

This.

I spent $0.99 on 2 hockey pucks that have lasted me for 10 plus years. I cut a grove in them, then screwed and glued them to a round piece of plastic I cut from an ikea cutting board.
