I'm betting on head gasket. Because Subaru.
Love the back and forth here though. |

If you ever want to do your own work on your car, bleed coolant with this:
https://www.amazon.com/Lisle-24680-S.../dp/B00A6AS6LY Just set it up, turn on car, add some coolant and let it run for 15-20 minutes. Rev engine a few times if you need. It should bleed it sufficiently so that any remaining air bubbles will be taken care of by the radiator cap. Oh and I'm making this assuming your thermostat and radiator cap are both functioning properly. -alex |

Why bother? All you'll do is say "nuh-uh" and repeat the same gibberish, as if repeating nonsense eventually makes it true.

PLEASE just tell me what I said that is "gibberish". I guess you don't speak "English" or "science". So my detailed explanation of how a Closed Loop cooling system works is "gibberish"??? |

BRZ overheating
TBH I still wanna hear more about this "closed loop" cooling system and if it can be tuned in open loop first🤔😅

If the leak is gone, I'd still throw a new thermostat in it regardless of you testing it. Are your fans running properly? Have not seen those mentioned in this post. Have you checked for a blockage in front of the radiator/condenser?
