Berk Technology FT86 Cup, a BRZ/FR-S/AE86 time trial series

***current standings***

INTRODUCTION:
The FT-86 Cup welcomes the newest generation of track drivers piloting the much touted FR-S/BRZ platforms. We also invite the spiritual predecessor AE86 to participate. Each event is a time trial competition, consisting of hot laps in a HPDE environment, with the fastest lap between sessions 2 and 4 counting toward final standings for the day. *This is NOT a wheel-2-wheel race.* With three simple classes, anyone can choose to participate.

eXtreme Speed track events has graciously agreed to host the series and provide trophies/medals at every event, as well as the occasional raffle prizes (track day vouchers anyone?).

*edit* We'd like to welcome Berk Technology who has come on as the title sponsor! The series will now be called the Berk Techonology FT86 Cup! They'll be offering prizes throughout the season, as well as providing windshield banners, and other goodies!

Robispec has stepped up to the plate, and is donating prizes for the season winners.

CounterSpace Garage will be donating prizes for podium winners at the end of the season.

THE COMMITTEE:
The committee will be able to answer any questions regarding classing. We are here to help the latest generation of enthusiasts develop their driving, and provide mentors for the community. Please don't hesitate to ask for ride-alongs!

Robispec (Robert Fuller) - Suspension genius
Matt Andrews (Matt Andrews) - Winner of Multiple time attacks
Luis Chavez [of club4ag] - OG 86 owner
CSG Mike (Mike Kang) - driving junkie

***Aftermarket safety equipment is allowed in ALL classes. If you are looking to install additional safety equipment and need guidance, please consult with the FT86CUP Committee***

Points System:
· 1st - 10 pts
· 2nd - 7 pts
· 3rd - 5 pts
· 4th - 4 pts
· 5th - 3 pts
· 6th - 2 pts
· 7th and lower - 1 pt

IMPORTANT: At the event, each participant is responsible for making sure their times are being recorded. Please make sure your times are showing after your first session; this is why we do not count the 1st session. Only official times recorded by eXtreme Speed Track Events will be accepted for prize eligibility!

IMPORTANT: You *MUST* have a FT86 Cup registration form completely filled out and submitted to timing to be eligible for prizes!

*edit*

Bonus events will be added throughout the year. These events will count toward season end standings, but only the 6 bet finishes will still count. This will give all drivers to potentially score some better finishes!
