Vid shows how zenki 86/BRZ power steering have random heavy weight steering while drifting. How they resolved it? Swap em out w Kouki 86/BRZ power steering module. Results are clear, it improved in better way. I had those feeling not only in drifting, but also in autox time, so I might be interesting in doing this simple mod/upgrade.

Distracted driver? Put the fucking phone down and drive you fucking assholes. I can't stand seeing fucktards driving while holding their phones in front of their faces while on speaker phone, or see people blatantly looking down in their laps for several seconds.

Why's it so god damn motherfucking hard for people just to DRIVE these days? It's a singular activity, stop trying to do other things while you do it!

I blame the cars. Cars nowadays have "features" to keep you in your lane, brake for you, change gears for you, and all kinds of stupid shit, so people think it's ok to play with their phones because the car is supposedly doing 90% of the driving for them.

Speaking of which, I actually got a complement on my car today from the most unlikely source: a Mustang driver. While coming up to a red light I down shifted through a couple of gears for fun and the Mustang that was behind me pulled up in the lane turn lane. Next thing I heard was "Nice FR-S yo!"

I agree. The lane departure warning stuff, the emergency braking, etc. was all born due to people just not being able to drive worth a shit anymore.

I'm happy that my '13 FR-S doesn't have any of that shit.

That's why I bought a nearly basemodel FR-S: none of the new age techno wizardry that interferes with actually driving a car. I get complaints all the time from my friends about how I didn't text them back or give their social media shit a thumbs up or whatever immediately and when I try to explain that driving my car requires all 4 limbs and my full attention I get a blank "WTF are you talking about" stare back.

Yesterday I was watching a large mercedes SUV in my rear view drifting back and forth between the lines. I could see the driver doing the classic move of looking down at their phone and peaking up to look at traffic every once in a while.

Traffic was bumper to bumper so I wasn't able to get out of the lane for a while, but I was definitely keeping an eye on him. Several times when traffic would creep forward I would see him slam on his brakes last minute... I'm glad I have a rear-view dashcam now, but I really dread the day I have to use the footage.

Ill correct myself.

My FRS is still very much an FRS on the inside. turn key, no push button, no bells or whistles

I got the tS braces, suspension bits, flex strut bar, 4.3 diff, and wing with a 2018 bumper.

I wanted the tS but also didnt want the frou frou nor the added cost of tearing apart a 1 of 500 unit.

am satisifed but would rather have the newer chassis that was refined and has the added stuff such as the diff ( I was lucky to find it)

you okay?

I wish there was a claus for accidents caused by distracted driving, those drivers would lose their license for a year
