At this point, thinking to just buy a new C30 unit, but obviously am a little gun shy. Thoughts?
Sounds like a bearing failure. You already have everything else in place; you might as well get another unit and keep enjoying the power!

FYI, the service interval is 2 years or 50k miles, whichever comes first.

Thanks for the reminder! I assume 'service' means 'send it somewhere'? Where is 'somewhere'?

Thx

Put in an order for a JRSC + Ace A350 setup with a Delicious FNG tune. Looking forward to joining the crew!

I'll be joining you next year also. Order is in for a JSRC C30! Going to wait till about March/April to install. I will be powdercoating the piping to match the red intake manifold, and will be having install done at PTuning and Ecutek tuning done through MotoEast/Xero Limit

Delicious FNG. I had my JDL UEL setup tuned by them and was super happy with it.

I will do a baseline dyno to get a delta to the JRSC + Ace. Most likely from a stock flash and stock header. If there is more interest in baselining from my current JDL tune, I'll think about doing that instead.

I am most interested in comparing stock-header+JRSC to Ace-header+JRSC, I mean the difference Ace header makes with JRSC. Data is very limited showing this difference. Maybe because it doesn't make much difference.

That would certainly be a good comparison. I'm not sure I know of any dyno that shows this.

I think the problem is that I would have to buy a CARB tune somehow. I don't recall it being free with the TIY kit.

Delicious has tune for JRSC+stock-header but I am not sure if they charge extra for the tune with Ace-header after that. I considered buying the ACE header but I gave up with the idea since I could not find any data.

There is no extra charge, but a discount is applicable when purchased with the header.

The difference from CARB + stock header to any catless header + tune is already significant. The difference is only amplified when comparing to an Ace header.

There have been some dyno posts in this thread in the past.

Can these kits fit a 2017+ brz? I just care about the carb legal sticker as long as the kit fits.
