Thinking about getting the 17x8 +35 Nurburgring's, can anyone tell me what the widest tire is that I can get on them with no bulging issues? I wouldn't mind a 245/35/17, also can anyone tell me if the caliper clearance is either the same if not more than stock? I have plans for a wilwood bbk, which will fit with the stock wheels, so aslong as these have the same or better clearance I'll be good!
@trevorovert maybe you can help me out?

Hmmmm. It's hard to say. I think you'd be fine with 245s, won't bulge really, but I can't speak for any clearance on the calipers. I would honestly doubt you would have any issues because of the +35 and +1" you're adding to the offset. And if you did, you could just throw a 5 or 10 mm spacer on it. But yeah if you are putting breaks that fit in the stock wheels you will be perfectly fine.

Yeah, the Wilwood's fit with the stock wheel, so as long as there is the same or more clearance with these I think these will be my wheel of choice, fairly light weight, affordable, nice design!

I might settle for the 235's, but if once I go FI, my goal is 450whp which I intend on achieving, so the wider the tire the better :P

Thanks for the insight !

17 x 8.0 / 35 TSW Interlagos

17 x 8 / 35 offset (sq.) TSW Interlagos Wheels / Mich PSS 225/45/ZR17 / Stock suspension

Temperatures are on the rise in SW Washington... so finally swapped OEM out... snow tires will eventually go on OEM wheels.

Props to the Discount Tire in Lacey... they had me in and out in 30 minutes... and it might have been quicker, but once the rig was up on the hoist, most of the staff suddenly had something "to do" at that hoist. Cost: $0 -- what better way to start a Saturday?

Post swap note: TPMS light came on about two hours later during a drive (as the DT employee had cautioned, "Might happen..."). So, went back (per his instructions) and they re-did the sync of the TPMS with the ECU - took about 10 minutes. Thanks DT.

I bought these in gunmetal last year for a WRX. I just put some winter tires on the stock wheels on it. Figured I'd throw these on the BRZ to see how they look. 235/45-17 Bridgestone S-04 and stock suspension.

That picture was at stock height, im now 1" lower on eibachs. This image might help, i dont have a good front shot on hand. On 245 wide tires its almost perfect, no poke at the top of the fender. If you dont mind waiting ill get more pictures in a couple days

Here you go, looking directly down the side of the car the top of the fender lines up exactly with the face of the wheel. You'd have more taper in the wall of the tire if you were on 225s, im on 245s

These hold up very well, I am happy I purchased these for looks and quality. I am running the 18x8, they go through a ton of abuse and have performed above my expectations.

Has anyone fit the 17x8 +35 Nurburgrings on a performance package BRZ? Or is anyone willing to check their wheel against a brake clearance template that I made?
