Here's my video from last week's Santa Cruz drive as well. Unfortunately I had it set to the wrong light metering mode so it looks pretty washed out.

and here's my video from our Sunday drive. I was a little unlucky and kept getting separated by other traffic, but I think it worked out in the end because @garfull and I had some fun playing catch-up once I got around the slower traffic.

86DRIVE won't be planning a drive this coming weekend so I thought I'd share this event with the MR2s and Celicas. It will be predominantly Toyotas of course but as with their last meet, all cars are welcome. Whether you join them or pursue your own route this weekend, have fun and drive safely!

I think I'll stop by the Union City meeting point and say hi, but I won't be joining for the drive. Have other chores to attend to today...

Went for a bit of a drive yesterday while I was out camping near Ice House. Went up Ice House to Wentworth and then stopped at Stumpy Meadow for a bit before heading back down the way I came. I ended up turning out onto some random road to see what I could find (just more campgrounds) then decided to stop to take a picture.

hey guys, I know at last night's 86Day meet we talked about doing a possible drive this weekend, but I have decided to take that off-calendar. The NorCal86 community just lost a good friend and fellow 86DRIVER @buzznasa recently and at the moment I don't think I have the heart to lead a drive this weekend. We will absolutely do something to honor his memory, probably a drive down Hwy 9 as his wife has suggested (that was one of his favorite driving routes), but right now it's too soon and too painful.

Apologies to everyone who expressed interest in driving this weekend, hope you understand.

Sorry for the last minute nature of this -- been a busy week -- but who's up for a drive tomorrow morning? I am thinking early morning Mines Rd run up and over Mt. Ham from Livermore to San Jose. Then I will be headed to Santa Clara for the AGP dyno day and car meet that starts ~ 9:30AM.

So thinking meet up at 7AM in Livermore side.
We will start from Livermore, meet at 7AM at Starbucks. Roll out by 7:20AM.
The route will take us down Mines Rd and over Mt. Hamilton to San Jose.

** THIS WILL BE AN 86DRIVE STAR-EARNING EVENT **

Meet up spot: Starbucks Coffee 2050 Portola Avenue Livermore, CA 94550
