Haha, nice. Oh how plans change as car guys. Quote:
Yea, that's probably the play for most bang for the buck. Personally, I just love the looks of the c7. If/when I get to the actual shopping stage, I'd definitely take a hard look at the 1le. I've been in one though and was not impressed - I mostly hated the seats, which I was very surprised at. Also, @Dave-ROR why the 1LE over just the SS for DD? Definitely sounds like a blast in the canyons or at the track. I feel like if I was just shopping DD I'd stick with base to save more money, but the niggle at the back of my mind tells me I'd definitely be tracking it at some point so why not 1LE. |

The stiffer bushings, eLSD, PDR option, wheel/tire/brake package/etc all make the 1LE package worth it to me. I actually didn't like the standard SS I drove back in 2016, but love driving the 1LE. The car is a bit stiffer than a standard SS but it's not stiff compared to plenty of other cars I've owned. I did wait for the 2SS 1LE to release in 2018 to have some comforts though.

@Dave-ROR my bad, I forgot to mention I sat in a 2SS (non 1LE). Sounds like I'd probably like the 1LE much better, didn't know they came with Recaros. I'll keep an eye out for one.
