Unfortunately it was just an educated guess. Based on prices in the SEMA showcase, similar products, etc.

Believe me, most shops pay for car parts out of their pocket so with them being more expensive, it doesn't help the vendors either. For what you pay for, you get a product backed by a US based company, and something unique.

You should just have to wire the halos in (1 power, 1 ground). Lots of options there. I will opt for tapping into the ignition wire going into the fuse box (under the hood). Others might tap into low beams or the DRLs.

I would like to have the halo lights to be on with DRL and parking light, how should I wire this?

You want it to go off with the headlights though? If you want it on always, I would wire it into the ignition wire which runs into the fuse box underneath the hood.

Here's a little halogen vs HID comparison. It wasn't that dark and these are the smoked lights. Both images had the same edits applied. Exposure was auto though. I mainly took them so people could see the cutoff.

Received my Spyder Blk HL w/halo, and TL, and ordered Spyder fog lights.

Will provide pixs after install.

So, anyone else having the UV clear coat peeling off? I got mine back at end of January. I garage my car, after only 8 months, the passenger side headlight is peeling. Spyder only warranty these for 90 days and basically telling me tough luck.
