If you have $1000 available I'd put down a $500 deposit at a Subaru and a Scion dealership. Then your decision is made a lot easier by when the car is available at each.

I've put down 3K in deposits in the last two weeks so far. LOL and its already been paid for. So when the car comes in, I'll just allocate all of the deposits into that one big down payment.

To me it'd be either FR-S or Sport Tech BRZ. I figure if I'm going to pay extra for the BRZ I'm going to go all the way. |

For me, I think I just don't want to be sitting in an FR-S and see a BRZ drive past and think... Damn, wish I would've paid a little more and got that instead. No way to know until we are sitting in our cars watching the other one drive past. |

I keep going back and forth between the FR-S and the BRZ FRS Pros - Comes sooner than the BRZ - Cheaper - Nicer to look at plastidiped badges - Nicer interior dash (love the white rev counter and T symbol design) FRS Cons - Hate the headlight lamps - No standard foglamps - Poorer climate system(reminds me of those cheapo yaris interiors) BRZ Pros - Dual climate control - Leather trimmed seats - LED accents with front fog lamps - More mature styling BRZ Cons - Comes in June but not sure if i will get one because of the pre-order list - Want white but might have to settle for WRB - HATE the silver interior dash panel UGHHH WHY IS IT SO HARDDD!!! I WANT YOU GT86! |

When I first saw what the FR-S will come with I was leaning towards a BRZ too, but having thought about it over the past few months I have decided to stick to the FR-S because in the end this car isn't about the creature comfort. Sure it'll be nice to have smart entry, push button start and auto climate control, but in a few years we're going to have even better technology in cars and the creature comforts we have today would be outdated. All that matters a few years from now will just be how this car drives. If I really wanted a car with all those options I would be looking into a Ford Fiesta which offers all those options for a cheaper price.

creature comforts can be had when I'm old and need a VIP car
My youth can handel not having my ass warmed by my leather seats Honestly tho if creature comforts are a big deal I don't see why you would want a car that has already been known for having a stiff ride
