They confirmed the covertible Roadster. WOW they did lie. I think they should wait to see how well the coupe sells before releasing the covertible.

Let's see here.

A convertible FR-S will probably weigh 2,850+ lbs and have 200hp/151 tq.
A MX5 weighs 2,460 lbs with 167 hp/140 tq.

This would be too easy for the NC to win. Better P2W ratio in a much lighter car with the same practicality. Not to mention a convertible adds 5k to a vehicles price tag which would give the NC an even bigger win overall.

Difference between what the engineers and the program managers want.

In this case, Subaru didn't want the convertible but Toyota does.

I'm not a convertible guy, but lately I've been thinking having one would be nice.

Although that targa top would suit both my wants, that would be so sick. Doubt they make a targa, but if they did it would make me think of getting an 86 again. Targa + Turbo = an 86 in my garage

I would rock that shooting brake (if it stays under 2800 lbs.).

Talking The new S2K/Poor mans Ferrari California lol

ok im surprised no one has mentioned how similar the side rear portion of the car looks to a Ferrari California and even more so lol but i would definitely drive a roadster version and i agree it is like the new S2K (which is a car that i absolutely love)

But how will you fit 4 wheels, a jack and other equipment in the roadster for track day?

Talking about adding water to hot sauce! The couple was already in a league of it's own and now they add a vert.

Hopefully this addition will introduce a hatch as well.
