Do you guys take off your detector off when leaving your car unattended?

If anyone wants a pimp detector then you need to go look at K40 detectors. They are pricey but they mount behind your bumpers and they pick up everything from long distances. I can't tell you how many times the old one I had in my supra saved my ass. I worked at a Lexus dealer at the time and got it cheap from a mechanic who pulled it out of a car that was traded in haha.

It depends on what part of town I am in. My driveway is susceptible to break-ins but I now have a camera on it so the neighborhood teenagers know they will be caught and dealt with :-)

Only when going into work/home if it's really cold out. I don't think the extreme weather will actually damage it, more for piece of mind. Otherwise I leave it hooked up

Right hand side above the mirror, needed the left side for my camera
V1 is hardwired with the Savvy and Bluetooth adapter: No tapping into wiring, gets it's power from the OBD port underneath the drivers side panel.
