I honestly don't blame him for having a bias against the twins. But yeah, he was an early adopter and even admitted it. But I think had he come in 3-4 years later and done it again, his experience would be quite a bit better. I've done the heavily modded route and the lightly modded NA route, and like the NA far more.

He's still one of my all time favorite car Youtubers behind Engineering Explained, and Straight Pipes, so I don't have hard feelings.

I think he was fair and mentioned his experience wasn't the best with the parts he chose in a seperate video.
Being an early adopter that's part of the dice roll when you buy unproven products.

I agreed with a bunch of his points about the 86 in his follow up with the facelift car. I believe I saw his video just prior to buying mine.

I appreciate his insight being that he is actually a fairly good driver and understands cars beyond asthetics and spreadsheets.

The Japanese bubble economy era was abnormal yet amazing while it lasted and will never return, not in the near future anyway.

Good times.

Yeah, I'd seen that. It would be nice seeing some of these MK3s and 4s restored to their former glory (the ones that have been ruined/crashed, at least)
