Welp, the day care deck for the granddaughters is ready for the summer. The 3 year old gets the 250 gal pool, the 10 and 12 year olds get the 1,000 gal pool.
Yep, that totals 1,250 gallons of water (10,375 pounds or 5.1 tons of weight) on a 35 year old deck, one story off the ground. Not to worry, the granddaughter's father (a carpenter) reinforced it. Let the summer games begin - humfrz |

As for the diff mounts? Ugh. I dropped the hammer on a Cusco product but still feel like I could've done just as well by making shims from an old tire.

I was surprised by the difference the STi mounts made - especially with the header hitting the undertray (Ace350), and without adding noticeable NVH. Diff mounts added noise, but between those and subframe inserts, launches are better and I can feel what's happening so much better. That reminds me though, I need to readjust the reverse lockout stop - 2nd is playing hard to get, and I'm pretty sure it's because I didn't leave quite enough room. I think you'll like them.

for those of you interested in motors and history:
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/video/de...1_c_iEgOEZ_2_1 it's keeping my attention, and focuses on engine design from initial steam engine designs up to current road-going vehicles. but the series leaves air flight power for a different video.

We have our old stuff coming, but it will be pretty empty for a while. it is a lot bigger house. We are just buying what we need this year. Just bought a washer and dryer today, and looked at riding mowers.
