auto dimming in the frameless rear view mirror - factory or dealer installed option, at least for BRZ
lights in the doors - BRZ has 'em
wish that inverted triangle under the rear bumper lit up or something - agreed, rest of world has it!
plastic instead of glass in the fog lights
radio antenna embedded in the windshield (I hate the idea it can get lost)
hatchback would be great - would raise center of gravity, detrimental to handling
under body panels included - BRZ has them
stock OEM muffles tips not so narrow - agreed
black (rubber?) guard under front bumper
storage under center console (where the arm rest would be)
OEM footwell and sill lighting (like the 1st gen tC)

Not a bad list you have there.

Ah, the new head unit has the same speaker button to get to the adjustments.

I'm glad I know that- I was going crazy holding the volume button down. Now that it's all perfect (my cup holder still buzzes) I have nothing to complain about except for the seatbelt snap thing I guess....

One last tip, you have to adjust the settings for every input device. So set it for bluetooth, switch to radio and set it again, aux, CD, etc. It's annoying at first but at the same time it's nice to be able to adjust it for different audio quality streams.

I love this feature, my friend's cadillac actually has the ability to set the treble/bass per radio station and that's just fantastic because I hate having cranked up base when I feel like listening to country haha

The fact that everything aftermarket(mostly) is OVERPRICED AS HELL!! Just because we have the new "tuner" car on the block doesn't mean you can take full advantage of us!

Oh, and the fact that the doors don't automatically lock and unlock when you drive/turn off the car; or that the doors don't unlock when you open the handle like pretty much every other Toyota vehicle.

I believe this can be configured. I think I read about it in the owners manual when I bought the car a few months ago..

i hate that its a 2.0l with 12.5:1 compression, a fairly good exhaust and intake and all of this modern fuel injection technology but only makes 160 WHP... really should have just been a gt86 like the rest of the world

What you HATE the most on your FR-S/BRZ/GT86/FT86?

I hate that when I bump the wiper stalk up once to have one wipe of the blades it just freezes up half the time unless I hold it longer than feels normal. Super annoying.

I'll recheck that, I dont think thats an option on our cars, I've been in techstream once and I didn't see it.

I sometimes drive off with the doors unlocked and I don't notice until I've arrived at my destination...

Yeah, thats a super uncool thing to realize, no security blanket because your
doors don't auto lock. It also sucks that I have to remember to unlock them to get out if I do lock them verses the door just unlocking when I pull the handle.
