0-60 calculator

found this calculator earlier and thought it was kinda neat. It's pretty accurate based off of the twins' specs

I prefer to use the old butt speed-calculator.

but yours is pretty cool too, even if it doesn't put aerodynamics into consideration.

Way off for the mazdaspeed6. 0-60 was that car's forte.
This thing says 5.5 seconds.
If you beat the snot out of it you could get to 60 in under 4.5 seconds thanks to a 46lb flywheel, insane gearing, and 280ft lbs of torque.

That car was an anomaly though...

I actually found a calculator that said my car should run the 1/4 in 13.8. lol. that's with 200 whp, and approx. 2700lbs. really gotta weigh her, think she's a little lighter than stock (2747 iirc) but I don't know how much.

I get 6.239/6.255 seconds with 150lb driver weight. Wet Curb weight is around 2767 or 2776 depending on whether it's a FRS or a BRZ.

I'm trying to calculate how fast a horse goes from 0-60. They're 1 horsepower, because it's just one horse, and average weight is around 1100 lbs.. They have four legs they run with so AWD makes sense.. But I'm stuck if horses are automatic, manual, or dual clutch.

I'm going with dual clutch for now, so my horse will get to 60mph in just over 144 seconds. What a slow ass horse.

That is the continuous rating for a certain breed of horse. Which varies greatly, BTW. You want the peak power that is typically used forGasoline engines. Horses top out at about 45mph, IIRC. So it's 0-60 would be infinity.

BTW, don't forget driver weight.

Damn you and your science!

What if I adjust the final drive of the horse so he can reach 60? And horse jockey rider people can't weigh all that much, right? Like maybe 3-5 lbs, max.

You might also want to look into changing out the horse shoe and go with a lighter forged alternative!
