probably a dumb question but which part are your referring to? I had my OFT plugged in as soon as I left the dealership to make sure nothing was too out of line. Obviously the car still shows the same CAL ID but what other info could I pull to see if they flashed it?

I mean try to flash a tune and see what happens.

Yep, i'm going to flash stage 1 back in a day or two just to make sure. I am just leaving it for a few days to make sure nothing else pops up.

I'm bringing mine in tomorrow for them to re-try the TSB. I'll know within a day or two if it's gone, it happens to me literally every day on my commute.

I highly recommend the TSB. It's made such a difference to the everyday driving experience (in a sad way, because now it operates like it should have).

So I did the TSB at the dealer on Wednesday night and so far no hard shifting or rev hunting! I tried everything I could to get it to happen on my commutes the last two days. I want to give it at least a full week before I say this is solved but i'm feeling extremely optimistic. My next question is, will this issue cause any long term transmission problems or did it cause excessive wear.

I have a feeling it caused excessive wear but not to a danger point

I was. But if you are having the idle hunt issue, I don't see why they wouldn't try to address it with a factory approved fix.

Alright so it's been a week and a half since I had the TSB done and no hard shifting or idle hunting! So relieved this is finally solved. Can I change my vote on the poll so people know there is a fix for this??
