I know looks are subjective, but that's pretty ugly IMO.

That said, the idea of a lightweight (sub-2900 lbs.), low-slung (sub 52" height), RWD sedan is enticing. Would be a unique offering on the market for sure.

I'm in because there's a poll: define "support"

Buy it? Nope, not practical enough, can find hatches with more space and get better mileage and still bring the fun factor for less money.

Moral support? Sure, nifty idea, offsets the cost of developing the platform for future iterations of enthusiast goodness.

Will it happen? LMAO Nope.

Edit: Voted no because 'support' in my mind is actually purchasing the thing which as I mentioned above is unlikely for me.

I think it would be pretty cool to have a sedan and a hatchback version of the FRS/BRZ....I say the more they do with the 86 the merrier...Not saying id buy it but it would be cool to see more variations around and expand our community..not a fan of that particular concept or picture i think some changes would need to be made, like tail lights need to be altered for one because they dont fit a sedan version at all lol

*I voted NO just for that particular picture you posted though...I would vote yes on a better looking concept with an 86 badge

And solar.

If they would even dare putting a more powerful motor in such a thing it would be followed by an angry mob possessing torches and pitchforks...I'd be the organizer of that posse right to Toyota/Subaru North America.

I wouldn't mind a sedan with suicide doors like the RX8 for easier access to the back seats. You could keep the sleek coupe look with the utility of four doors.
