Need to do more Youtube search on this system for more sound samples.

Would you say that the non-resonated is more "raspy" than the resonated setup?
It definitely is raspier especially so if you are planning on doing a header, overpipe and midpipe later. Resonated has a deeper tone for sure.

I just installed the 3 inch front pipe catted and 3 inch resonated catback.

I'll say this, I've had Hondas all my life and my share of exhausts to go with. But the sound this car makes with the Perrin parts installed is EXACTLY what I was looking for. It's got a deeper tone on start up. Once warmed up sounds damn near like stock. Giving just a bit of gas makes it rumble. No highway drove, no turning the radio up to drown it out, no raspiness, no fat can or tin can sounds. I can lay into it and carry on a conversation as if nothing. I mean I am extremely pleased with these parts. I can't wait to turbo it and make it a sleeper beast!!!!!

Installed the 3 inch exhaust over the weekend and WOW does it sound great! Install wasn't too bad...did it by myself. Probably would have taken less time if there was a second person helping. Perrin does make a great quality product and I am glad i chose this vs their 2.5 inch exhaust.

installed one too

hi, I also installed a perrin 3 inch resonated cat back on the 14 January. My install took 2.5 hours with the extra time spent trying to align the rear tips. I was concerned with the mid pipe touching the wall of the chassis transmission tunnel, but i think Perrin has revised their design slightly because there is now ample clearance.

How does it sound? when i first started it up, I thought it was too loud, Now after 2 days of use, I've gotten use to it and think its about the right volume. Its sounds really deep, and mixed with the slightly raspy midrange sound piped from the engine, its a great tonal combination. Its a refined rumble.

For those deciding between the 2.5 and the 3 inch, i recomend go the 3 inch.

January 28 update - With approximately 2 weeks of use (500kms), I believe the exhaust has gone quieter by maybe 15%. I am noticing more of the mid range tone from the engine. Daniel at car mods Australia whom I purchased from did mention that the sound does settle down after a couple of hundred kms as carbon starts to coat the inner surfaces. At first I thought I would not want it any louder by changiing other exhaust components, but now I'm wondereing if I should also change the front pipe to hiflow catted front pipe...... but since I do not yet intend to retune the ECU, its hard to justify the additional spend for a bit more sound with little performance gain, cause it does sound pretty great at the moment, even better with the windows wound down..., the perrin 3 inch makes driving so much more enjoyable...

I'm not sure if this was a question meant for us or not, but if it was, please shoot us a PM and we can go from there.

Sorry, I don't think it would fit. The dimension of the box was 44.5x24x12. I did a measurement of the exhaust from tail tip to tail tip and that was already ~40". I would recommend the box that was packaged by perrin. It was well package and protected all the parts. Good luck!

We do ship internationally, so that may save you some cost.

Hope that helps.

I dont believe this is a universally true statement.
