also btw, guys/girls

I see launch control is available on unichip wholesale website. I'm going to give Jack a call (maybe today during lunch if I can) and see if this is something he will be offering soon. They also have the nitrous kit/module available online.

I'm not sure if its this thread or the other, but Jack did say there was a way to upload the launch control to your Unichip at like 3000, 3500, or 4000 RPM.

That's true, but you do need the module (I believe it's around $27 or so). I'm going to see if I can order that along with the nitrous kit and play around with that for a while.

anyone else willing to try out their nitrous setup? I know you would need to buy the nitrous kit and the nitrous controller from waht I can see (I would do a bottle warmer and possibly a window switch, just to be double safe)

I know this is kind of stupid, but it anyone else using the FA20club CAI with Unichip? I just ordered mine and will probably just use the Perrin or Injen tune. Would be nice if Unichip could make a tune file for it!

Ask and you shall receive. From what I've seen, if we want a tune for it (bolt on parts) they will deliver

Is there any chance of a tune for the FA20club CAI in the near future? @Unichip Jack

Hey guys...I actually never noticed this. What's the diff on tunes that end in hex compared to ones that say hex.col ?

Thanks guys.

The "hex.col" files are book keeping files created by the MapsQ software... there's nothing different in them with respect to tuning and you shouldn't even see them as selectable options from inside the software.

Yes, we're planning on offering a tune for the FA20 CAI. We're currently in the middle of the TRD CAI...

Cheers,
Jack

Please post pics/details when you install.

BTW - I'm running the Fuel ~ Timing + with the AEM calibration, the variable valve timing feels more like VTEC now. Very happy.

Hoping to have the headers in soon and on.

I'll be getting some dyno runs on May 4th and then on the 18th as well (where I might use a uncatted front pipe and muffler delete I picked up).

Will do, the launch control will set off a CEL (not sure what it is), but I'm going to investigate it and see what I can find. It's actually a simple install also. You run the line into one of the pin connectors on the back of the unichip, then run it into the cabin and then use a quick connect to tap into the red/yellow clutch actuator wire.
