im trying to get coilovers but idk which to get, i noticed that the cheapest coilovers are megans, i dont go to the track i use my car as a DD. what do you guys suggest?

also, my ride is completely stock i plan on getting wheels after coilovers.

any suggestions ?

i suggest you buy lowering springs and call it a day. You'll save yourself money and the springs would hold value much better over time.

Guaranteed to be a significant downgrade vs. stock. Their spring rates are backwards (6F/4R) and at $800 the damping is certain to be crap. Agree w/ 7thgear, you'd be much better off with springs and possibly Koni sport struts/shocks.

I couldn't agree more...Don't give me wrong. I'm sure they are "functional" but for how long and when they blow, what is it going to do to your car?

Even more popular entry-level Tein coilovers get bad report cards grades sometimes.
When it comes to springs. It's hard to say bad things about a properly installed Eibach springs
If you want proper coilovers, do more home work, save more money. I was happy with Ohlins RT coilovers on my RX7 and Bilstein B16 on my GTI. I paid extra for peice of mind and resale value! Good luck

There are a ton of threads on suspension setups/coilover reviews, so buy whatever you want, but like others have said you would get most bang for buck with struts/springs. If youre dead set on entry level coils, I have used both stance and BC racing and would reccomend either for your application.

I agree with everyone above. If you don't track your car and its mainly used for DD, then you are much better off on a good set of properly matched springs on stock struts, or upgraded struts depending on what your looking for. I have a 1" drop on mine and DD drive it, and it rides pretty much like stock and looks great. Let me know if I can help you out with some options

They work for a while and that's all I will say about them. But if you just want to drop your car get some eibach's or H&R Super Springs. If you really want some coilovers, save a little bit more money and go for stance.

i thing thats what im going to go for, i just wanted to get advice im new to all the car drama, so yeah.. so what struts and springs should i get ?

For most springs, stock struts are great. If you want struts/shocks as well, Koni yellows are your only option right now.
