I’m not TRO but I’m also a multi year subscriber. It’s not exactly cheap, but well below Prime and Netflix. As TRO noted their production is, imo, very good. They also have specific programs devoted to the technical development of the cars along with archival material. Jolyon Palmer has an interesting program analyzing each race’s critical moments frame by frame.
I like the presenters a lot. Will Buxton has come a long, long way since the speed channel days. He’s still over caffeinated, but it works Several women have joined the pre and post race program, do exceptional jobs and add a lot to the production. On top of that the service is on-demand and available wherever your phone works. I’m lucky enough to have GB fiber at home. Watching races with perfect video and sound is a far far cry from the few times F1 showed up anywhere on tv on a grainy crt tv. For me it’s easily worth the money. |

I already spend too much money on my internet just because I'm in Canada.
Yoho the pirate's life for me when it comes to watching sports. I support the sport/team by buying merchandise... I bet they make more on one shirt purchase than an F1TV sub anyways. |

For the better I think. Save everyone a lot of hassle, especially since parts of the track are under inches of water.
F1 and the FIA finally seem to be coming around to the notion that they shouldn't try to force a race in the extreme wet for driver/fan safety, saving the teams $ from a lack of crashes, and saving the fans at the event the annoyance of watching the cars runs a few laps behind the safety car and then red flagging the race. Edit: as a massive pro, Ferrari has a much much lower chance of mucking this race up! |

The local security services had the final say not the FIA so not really their decision. A Google of Imola area gives a clear picture nothing is moving around that area with a lot of closed highways. https://www.google.ca/maps/@44.34682.../data=!5m1!1e1 I had checked yesterday’s weather after seeing rumours they were thinking of cancelling the race earlier this week. The forecast shows sunny today not much rain for the weekend. The damage to the surrounding racing infrastructure has already been done by now. |

What I remember about the Monaco weekend:
The Baller who had a F40 on the front deck of his yacht. My priority would have been a life boat for my Dinghy but I could make do with what he had for my escape up to Menton for a lemonade at the beach. https://supercarblondie.com/ferrari-f40-yacht-monaco/ I also have a F40 sitting on my window but carrying it around in my pocket is not in the same league. |

Monaco needs to be taken off the calendar. Modern F1 cars just cannot effectively race there. If the race had been dry all day we would have seen almost no overtakes the entire race

Monaco is generally great for quali, but I agree it's crap for racing now due to boat sized cars. It's pretty incredible to see them flying around a tight street circuit leaving millimeters from the guardrails. Absolutely no room for error when going flat out.
The rain helped spice it up at least. Maybe they need to implement sprinklers if dry races get too boring lol |

I'd rather they make the cars smaller than remove iconic tracks from the schedule.

Just for giggles, here's a size comparison between a Caterham Seven and their F1 car from 2011.

New idea for Monaco GP. F1 drivers in some sort of spec 1/2 scale car/kart or f3/f4 car. Just for that race. Full points etc.

I Respect your views about Monaco, the debate has been going on for some time yet it endures.
Monaco is more about what happens around the racing than the racing around Monaco. Yet they add parking lot racing in Miami & another city layout in Los Vegas. What I would pay to see F1 racing at the Glenn instead again but those days are gone.. |

Unfortunately Vegas will be just like Monaco, more about what happens around the race then the race itself.
The Vegas layout looks incredible boring. |

Current F1 "street" circuit design:
Straight 90 degree turn. Straight 90 degree turn. Straight 90 degree turn. Straight 90 degree turn. |
