What's your tax like there? Sounds like a good deal.

Don't let the Canadian prices fool you. We make correspondingly more on average so the real value is about the same. How would you like to pay $6 a gallon for gas?
Or even better...$40 for a case of beer!!???

Not bad, I walked out the door at about 39k, but that was with the rust proofing (lifetime warranty) paint protection (lifetime warranty), interior protection (lifetime warranty against tears, burns and rips) as well as the Platinum ECP for 60/100.

Unfortunately my price was that high even with the deal I got, Dealer wholesale price, with an addition 2k off. Gotta love taxes here. Although, I did no haggling as I've been drooling over the FRS since it was released and now I'm finally in a position to buy one. Plus I don't feel ripped off.

Edit: I forgot that the dealer threw in the Halo white paint for free for me. Saved about 260 or something.

That tax is killer. I don't know how your neighbouring states tax is but I wouldn't mind travelling a bit to get a lower tax rate or APR (if possible). You could have a nice bonding time driving back home too . Mine came to around 28,900 with full front 3m and extended warranty. 64kms off the lot.

Buy it in the States and go to register it in Ontario you pay the full taxes anyway!
Plus... you get to pay for the Ontario safety certification.
Don't worry the Ontario government will not lose a cent and even make it expensive enough to keep you business here.

$40 for a case a beer?! Inconceivable. I shall message the Pope at once.

It's sorrta sad. I can go to Walmart in Michigan and buy a case of "imported" Canadian beer for $15. Bad part is that it was made about 6 blocks from my house!
