Unless everything I know was a lie, dampers and shocks are interchangeable terms, lol.

I think his confusion stems from shocks and dampers being the same thing.

Damnit not one of you would play along? Nobody? Really? We couldn't enjoy some gentle poking before we gave up the info? What have things come to? If I had included a picture of "dampers" would anybody have caught on?

I have not seen any pics but am also not sure where the whole description of it being aluminum came from so maybe I missed something as well.

I'm thinking the base damper probably did not change, and the Sachs are indeed optional only like they were before for the Toyota 86 in Japan.

This Performance Package is probably the twin's equivalent to the Miata Sport Package, not the Club package.

Now that Series.Yellow could be the Club package equivalent, I mean why make it yellow if there's no Bilsteins.

Those optional wheels are sexy! I can't decide if I like those or the new standard wheels more.

I love this whole update. It's not enough improvement to make me regret buying my car, but it comes with plenty OEM goodies that I can transplant over time. I'm not very big into aftermarket parts.

Everything about this update is spot on and just what the doctor ordered but the lack of nav or android auto/carplay really bugs me to no end lol and i know its a low production car but could thry have at least improved the base starlink system so its not so ancient feeling?

I thought MY15 and up were already sachs dampers, because I heard the MY13 and 14 were showa dampers.

Its a set of brake calipers, unless they changed the knuckle design it should bolt on. Will it clear your oem rims is a different story though.

Dealers may indeed sell at those posted above-MSRP prices to a few shoppers who have no clue about how to buy a car, but most people when buying a four year old model that is in limited demand are capable of negotiating significant discounts on those dealer ask-fors. Forum members in Toronto were paying below MSRP for the FRS on the first shipments way back when....

I think them removing the DRL strip was a mistake. I love it!
I also love my tom's more than the new taillights...Guess I'm glad they didn't make me wish I had a new one

Speaking from the exterior update. Power wise I don't care since I'm modded anyways. I don't really see the new suspension being a gamechanger, with my city driving.

It's nowhere on the website and I haven't seen any photos either but the same info popped up on other websites as well (Jalopnik included) so either its press info reworded several times, or more motoring.au "news" but I doubt that.
