My vote is for Calaveras as I haven't done it before. Either way works. Will have to get up extra early to be at Livermore by 7:00 if we start there.

Very narrow, single lane road, very popular to cyclists. Getting there at 7am would be key to avoid all the traffic.

ok, it's decided. We will start from Livermore, meet at 7AM. Roll out by 7:20AM.

The route will take us down Mines Rd and over Mt. Hamilton to San Jose.

Remember to bring radios if you have them.

I was going to vote Calaveras since it seems to be less traveled but Livermore is closer and will allow me to sleep in an extra 30min :P

I need to be at the balk field at 9:30 so this would cut it too close if we hit traffic on the route. Oh well.
