Exact same setup ? Same tune, same boost, same over/front/catback/intake? Same dyno?

It would be good to know the true hp difference. If it really is 20hp, then the price, while high would be worth it to a good amount of people willing to spend the money. But if it's 5hp or something low like that, then the $700 price difference really is not worth it unless you got a good deal on a used one.

jw because I have a JDL UEL right now and considering JRSC in the near future.

*Edit - sorry i just realized you just said EL vs UEL, not necessarily ACE giving the 20hp difference

The difference becomes more pronounced as you go to the HBP, where flow becomes an issue; the Ace simply allows more timing to be added without knocking, unlocking more power.

AUC gains are extra icing on the cake.

Yes, as said i have UEL, but they are the worst UEL for power (hks boxer spec) and my friend exact same setup but less boost than me, makes 20hp more than me with skunk2 alpha serie EL header

anyway now i m waiting for Ace 350 to be shipped from Taiwan

I haven't experienced it myself, but the previous owner of my Cosworth w/HBP ran a Tomei UEL and I run the Ace CS400, and he said the same thing after driving it with the Ace. Not necessarily 20 hp, just that it pulled noticeably harder up top.

tomei uel are good, so maybe yes, not 20hp... also cosworth kit is positive displacement, you get more of a difference uel vs el with a centrifugal kit up top... extreme difference really up top

I currently run a JDL Catted UEL (with a gutted cat...long story), but will eventually be swapping it out for the PTuning Race Header (an EL). It will be interesting to see the power differences between the two, but I will say, I get a TON of compliments on the tone of my exhaust with it’s current setup (JDL UEL, JDL UQFP (now castless...long story), and Perrin 2.5” CBE) — and its typically preempted with someone saying they HATE the sound of most twins.
