~43.3lbs? That'd be about 6lbs above stock I think.

That's the correction from ACE. Should be official soon I guess.

Is the laguna exhaust 3" or 2.5"?

How much whp is sacrificed to get the sound down?

I believe it is 2.5" and no whp sacrifice because that was the goal of the project. Quiet exhaust without hindering power. Sounds like the biggest hindrance is the weight, but I could lose 6lbs off my ass to make up the difference.

While the weight gain is certainly something a small number of people should take into consideration, it is not a no go for most. I only track twice a year so it is not an issue for me. There is So much weight to be lost in other areas of the car that don't create massive amounts of noise/drone.

The weight is what makes the sound clean and reduces overall dB levels. Generally speaking, you want to lose unsprung weight and weight above the standard center of gravity. Having weight on the bottom of the car is not a bad thing as long as it's close to the CG center axis. Imagine an ice skater who spins.

There is more benefit in cutting weight from the driver than cutting weight from the exhaust. That includes us too.

I disagree. Weight hurts mileage, acceleration, handling, etc.
That said, if I have to have weight, I want it low and in the center.

To Maxime, CSG and to all we apologize.

This afternoon we were shipping a package and noticed the weight was different. This was a standard part we've shipped many times and it was off by a good %.

We dusted off our mechanical scales and realized the digital version was indeed high.

We remeasured the exhaust parts on the mechanical scale and came up with these figures:

Muffler= 8.7kg
S Pipe= 2.2kg
Mid Pipe= 4kg

Total = 14.9kg

We're very sorry for the unprofessional release of bad data. We ask that those who already received double check our figures since we've used different scales.

Thank's everyone for the understanding and I think we know why FedEx likes us so much...

Mmm, so roughly just below 33lbs? Still a weight savings of ~4lbs from stock I think. Not that the weight was a deciding factor for me but I still like the idea of it being lighter than stock.
