2017 86 Tail Lights Info

Just called a nearby dealership and was able to get info about the 2017 Toyota 86 taillights. I know a lot of people are interested in keeping OEM but also love the new taillights way more than the old ones.

It turns out they are going to be EXPENSIVE. As expected!

Right-Side Taillight:
Part# SU00306986

Left-Side Taillight:
Part# SU00306987

Price = $462.48 EACH
Whopping total of 924.96 for both not including installation if you don't want to do it yourself.

I have been looking for this information online for a couple weeks now and could not find it so I hope this helps someone.

Wow! That's pricey.

I like them but I may have to wait to see what they cost on the 2nd hand market in a few months.

"Higher end" OEM stuff tends to be way more expensive :\ Look at the BRZ and JDM Toyota 86 headlights.

The tails look nice but I don't really like the style, too much going on. For that price, I'll pass.

Crossing fingers for winjet reps lol

But yeah i was curious too, its my favorite... no... only exterior part of the update that i like.
They really remind me of ae86 redline kouki hatchback tailights, and are about the same price!

Thanks op for doing the legwork, even if the result scared our wallers away lol

Not a fan of the new tail lights. Would much rather keep the 2016 and below OEM tail lights on instead.

I'd still rather get Tom's or Valenti's, which for some reason are cheaper too.

That's a hefty price tag especially from toyota too. Had to reread the breakdown for a second to make sure I was seeing it right

Wait until the next wave of mods, where the interior pieces begin selling on eBay. Expect to see them after January.

They are not reminiscent of the 2000GT. They're terrible.

Related to this, I was thinking about replacing mine with TOM's, but I have one doubt. Now that the OEM 2017 tail lights are led, do we still need to change that relay?

I ordered a set of them from FT86SF, but they arrived without gaskets so I can't install them.

They're sending me the gaskets for them for free, just waiting for them to arrive.

Saw my first 2017 BRZ from behind at night. It looks really nice at night but it looks terrible during the day.

The chrome killed it.
