I tested the AVO clutch in bob's car and reall liked the way it felt. A touch harder the stock and grabbed better. They use a 15 lbs flywheel so its not as hard on stading starts but the car really responds. We will be installing our kit and ill post some pics

@nataku will you be at the pure meet? If so you may be able to try out some options there.

I'll be trying out an FX350 this weekend at autocross. I'll probably have bought something before the meet.

Around 220-250rwkw range on my dyno.

x 1.341 = 295-335 dyno dynamics shootout whp
x 1.15 = 340-385 dynojet whp

I think the AVO heavy duty plate and flywheel are great. You just have to pick the right clutch disc to suit your power level, nvh requirements etc

The organic one was nice to drive and would be an awesome oem replacement for a street driven car on stage 1 / 2 but if you track hard, do a lot of launches or clutch kicks or go to higher power levels try sprung ceramic. If you don't mind NVH the carbon disc is buttery smooth with instant bite every time. But it's crazy loud.

Also, the stock clutch is holding up fine on our sprintex car. AVO power delivery is brutal!

Would you happen to have a boost plot at this power? Also, how many PSI?

My turbo is set right now to 16-17 psi and its hitting peak around 4.5K but is tapering off at the end to around 11 psi and would like to know if its common behavior of the turbo running out of breath at the end or if I might need to start looking for a boost leak.

It's more likely whatever you are using for boost control isn't able to keep up with the higher rpm. You may need to run a restrictor pill in the lines to keep the solenoid from being overwhelmed.
If you had a boost leak, it'd show up everywhere. Back pressure from the exhaust system may be part of the issue as well.

I'm now running Perrin's MBC. This are my latest Plots. I'm actually hitting peak boost like at 4200 RPMs

Below are my Boost curves when on 93 pumpgas and hitting 11-12 psi, same Perrin MBC.

Below, with the 5 PSI actuator adjusted with MBC to 10 psi

@King Tut , boost plots to compare

Sorry I don't have any plots handy but didn't have that big of a drop. With the 7 psi actuator and turbosmart MBC we hit around 16 psi dropping to 14.5.

Thats just about what I would expect. a 2-3 psi drop max... Only thing that has me thinking its not a boost leak is that I am not going super rich, so I'm not loosing a lot of unmetered air.

So I did some runs today to see how Boost behaved. Interesting results. I think my Perrin MBC took a shit..... Two things why I think this. First look at the Red curve. That one is without Perrin MBC. It drops from 10.5 to about 9.7 which is fine, it has always been like that.

Now look at the trend from all other curves. No matter the setting, it wants to go down to the 10-11 range. The other thing that hints me that it took a dump is that I kept screwing it in, but the boost didn't want to increase. I pushed it in farther than I had never done it and I had seen before up to 18 psi with it. Now it peaked at about 14 something. I will try a different MBC and report back.
