And now it is shut down and I look at it and shake my head. I would love to "move into the big leagues" politically (ie be a politician) but I hate irrational people...

Uh... So I think I'll need to ditch my mud guards then lol

I'll search for that thread.

I have a feeling the grip will be immense--IF I can get them to fit. Went w/ the Mach V rims (+42), so I hope that offset helps some.

Thx again Chris & I don't care what anybody says abt you--you're a gentleman & scholar in my book... lol

Mainly availability in used take-off tires is plentiful. Plus, I'll eventually need all the rubber the car can handle to get it prepped properly to compete.

ah okay okay.

my suggestion is roll the front and rear flat, pull it a little bit, trim that rear bumper "tab" and you should be okay as long as you have inside clearance.

How often do you find yourself needing to put in more than one lock of steering input? There is a good chance you will rub the inner fenders in the front both ahead of the strut and behind the strut with too much steering lock. I don't think it would be an issue on a race track, but in a tight cone killing session, I could see it. You should have plenty of inner clearance in the rear just bend the parking brake holding bracket out of the way.

I don't think anyone ever took a picture of it and put it on the forum that I can think of. I can grab a shot of my highly modified tab and text it to you when I get off work. I know Jive texted me some pics of his as well.

It is too hard to get a good picture without the wheel off the car. I don't think I will be able to get any pictures until next Weekend.

I guess I called it, haha. My @JPM Coachworks shift boot and ebrake boot put me over the top. I already had their gauge cluster hood. I installed the ebrake boot myself using the spray adhesive that they sell on their site and let me tell you that I would definitely pay them to do it if I had it to do again. That damn spray adhesive goes everywhere, and I spent like 2 hours removing the adhesive and fur from the OEM ebrake boot.

Anyways, I was super happy to win:

2013 Southeast 86 Mega Meet Best Overall

Thanks for the photos @jadewbj

The car is now two for two in shows as it also won:

2013 86 Nationals Best of Show Forced Induction

I got a trophy and some Mackin lugs for winning at the 86 Nationals, but I got a GTSPEC front and rear strut tower bar for winning at the Southeast 86 Mega Meet.

Thanks to Tristan @Circuit Motorsports for hosting the event and Tucker @L3P47 for coming up with the event. I had a great time, and I hope the event is even bigger and better next year.

Uneventful. I never find guys that want to run me on the Interstates. Only caught some minor rain and lots of bugs on the way back.
