Would you...

Would you buy used coilovers? I am fairly new to the whole modding car thing. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated!

Depends. If all you want is to stance yo! then go for it. save a buck.

If you want to track it.... I wouldn't trust used coilovers. Especially the lower end coilovers.

Personally, I don't like buying things used. . especially a wear item. Coilovers are wear items, i.e. they will need to be eventually rebuilt. So unless you know for sure that they weren't used for extensive mileage and that they weren't abused, I would just buy new. Otherwise, you'll be paying for a rebuild (if they're even capable of being rebuilt) plus the cost of removal/shipping/installation assuming you are not removing/installing them yourself.

depends who you're buying them from, what condition and what price.

I wouldn't bother buying cheap coilovers that are used(coilovers that are only 1k or less new).

And bang her on the hood of his car, leaving impressions in the hood.

Op, it depends on condition and the deal you are getting. If they are good quality brand and model and the deal you are getting is good enough that the cost of a rebuild will still be less than new set then yes definitely go for it.

I bought mine used but they were off a SEMA car, so they only had a couple hundred miles on them..those are the parts you'll want to buy if you ever buy used parts.
