So If I don't get the front splitter will the rear diffuser still be functional. If so what will be the balance then?

Also will this fit for those individuals with the flat jdm panels already installed?

Any plans for some kind of side splitter at this point?

Of course, it will most certainly function. The splitter increases the effectiveness of the diffuser though. We didn't run the analysis, but it would shift to a rearward balance.

Not at this point. FT-86 SpeedFactory asked us to design this, but hasn't said anything about side aero. We are looking into some tunnel/underbody covers though .

Would tunnel covers generate heat issues, since you're reducing airflow around the exhaust pipe?

Not to the point I would be worried about it. Exhaust material should withstand 8-900 degrees easily. I guess it could generate some extra heat in the cabin.

We test everything before we release it though . There are ways to reduce heat in places as well.

Looking at a 599 under body panels below, it looks like beyond the cat and x-pipe/merge collector, it doesn't effect cabin temperatures since Ferrari has the rear exhaust sections covered by plastic/cf belly pans. So, since the FRS has it's merge collector and cat all at the front subframe, (which has quite the ventilation) I wouldn't see how tunnel covers would affect in cabin temperatures. Though, if you felt it did get too hot, I would think if you just wrap your exhaust in header wrap or have it ceramic coated, that would greatly reduce the radiated heat that could permeate into the cabin.

Few more interesting updates .

Close up of the braided lines we use on our fuel rail kit. These are bar none, the best motorsports oriented hoses on the market. Used in Formula 1, IndyCar, NASCAR, Tudor, Nationwide, Indylights. You name it, it's very likely on there.

Intake manifold pictures. More to come of course.

Diffuser test fitting went well.
