O is the main map. I is map 2. The switch needs to stay connected to use map 2. When the switch isn't connected, the Unichip defaults to the main map.

Noob question guys but; im running my vehicle catless soon as I install my header but; initially i had planned on going with a tuner shop but the unichip has caught my eye, obviously im going to have a CEL; can this chip get rid of my CEL? One last noob question please dont flame me but; say if it does remove my CEL is it removed permanently to where as future references my CEL does need to come on due to some mechanical issues and due to the chip it does not process the information and the CEL does not activate?

No, it will not turn off the CEL. An anti-fouler would help.

Hmmm...okay,fare enough. The manual doesnt call out "tach sweep" ...on page 161 it tells you how to set the rev indicator. The tach sweep is a function of the rev indicator...if you set it to 3000rpm the tach sweep , on startup, will indicate to 3000 and then back to 0 to let you know where it is set.

Just curious guys, If i do headers, full exhaust and an intake will my results yield better power with an ECUtek as opposed to the Unichip? Seriously trying to see which will maximize my power gains out of the header, intake, etc.

This seems like a silly question. You need a custom tune specifically for your car if you are looking for every last drop of HP. Obviously any plug -n- play one size fits all for the masses will be a tad conservative to account for variation / unknowns / etc.

You can get a custom tune for the UniChip as well, search unichips site for the software

But you also have the access to just about ever bolt on mod tune without having to pay for each new tune, like the others do to you...and it you want to fine tune the "Masses versions" you can (and have a start point that is known good)

A reflash tune will absolutely make more power, especially with a header due to the ability to adjust cam timing. You can choose from ecutek, brzedit, or now the openflash tablet and whatever map editing software you want.
