Never had an issue with it at all then it's been raining the last few days and woke up to this. I'm yet to read this whole thread (read the first 5 and realized there's over 30 pages) but I'm hoping my dealer will fix it.

I finally got around to fixing mine.
Just removed the light, gently removed the gasket (as to not tear it) and poured out as much water as possible (I had about 1 1/2" deep puddle) by tilting the light toward the inboard corner, then leveling the light to pour the water out the nearest bulb hole. This was remarkably effective as it left less than 1/4" of water.

I then cut a 20oz Mt Dew bottle to fit around the larger bulb socket and fit it to a hair dryer. This would pump warm dry air through the housing and let the moist air escape through the smaller hole used earlier to pour the water out. Kept it on lowest heat and an hour later it was completely dry. Shook it around with the lens facing down to check for any remaining water droplets.

Cleaned the mating surfaces thoroughly with ISO alcohol. Reinstalled everything with a small bead of black silicone (less than 1/8") around the gasket (both sides) where it gets pinched, and around the hardware, and snugged down the bolts. Will report back after some rain/snow.

I noticed a small insect in one of my taillights. Not sure if they will replace it under warranty but since my FRS is a 2012 build I rather have the revised version.

I went to my dealer today and was told my VIN is newer than the current TSB for the tail light but they offered to replace it at no charge still. Should be in next week.

I had mine mist up early spring. I did not do anything about at that point. I thought I would keep an eye on thru the summer. Well this fall it misted up again. So I took it in to the dealer. They Knew about the problem and did even come out and look. They just ordered up another on on warranty. So If you think the problem is gone and you don't act on it. It will bite you later. Hope you still have warranty left at that point.

Don't waste you time.

There is a natural channel for water to continually assault the gasket.

I used snowman snot ( dollar store gooey gum for post it notes on fridge )
built a dam and water channel (placement is obvious) dribble water and modify the snot so the water flows away from the top of the gasket.

Instantly removable always pliable - re-usable.

So far so good for me - waiting for more severe temp and humidity changes for the long term test - will try to post pics soon.

If I was you . I would go get a new one while you have warranty. Or you won't have any money to buy snot. When you don't have warranty to fall back on . Just saying.

Get a garden hose and spray it on the center of your rear windshield full force then watch the full force water jet coming out over your tail lights.

Then open your trunk and press on the black plastic housing of your tail lights and see the gap. Thats where the water assails the gasket and eventually penetrates the gasket EVERY time it rains or you wash the car.

Then read my original post. (Yes I have had 2 warranty replacements, both that eventually leaked, including my new crystal eyes).

Since my snowman snot fix (99 cents) , extreme rain, extreme temperature changes and an extreme garden hose test - NO MORE CONDENSATION !

just sayin -

I'm sure that the cost to the corporation of replacing all those expensive tail lights will result in a fix .

Either a complex over engineered parts and body alteration , or they will steal my idea LOL !

They don't always replace the tails. Sometimes they just dry it out and replace the gasket.
