That's why I drive my drive and don't worry about assholes around me.
Hopefully the car is relatively alright.

But yeah got it in fucking September. Worse part is I had taken the afternoon off to vacuum, wash and prepare it for storage... ended up jumping curbs

yeah gramlights... kind of wish I had cheap rims, that way the wheel would have just exploded in a million pieces instead of just cracking and sending all the impact force on the control arms, suspension, subframe, etc.

I feel like if that happens, you would be looking at another set of problems, just as bad if not worse, no?

May have damaged some bodywork and obviously would have needed a new rim but at least it wouldn't have touched the subframe, which for now we are pretty sure it did (hopefully subframe dmg is not too extensive)

wasn't sure which would get your attention first so here's another post:

@Slick hey buddy, you want to hit me up in Pm to give me a quote on 1 gramlight 57xtreme 18x9.5, 5x100, 40 offset in semi gloss black. I need a new one since I snapped one in my crash and my insurance adjuster's part provider has a 6+ month backorder on them.

I have done my 20k service at Otto's in Ottawa and I thought iI'd share my experience with you guys.
I presumed that a 20k service doesn't entail much but they gave the impression that I was mistaken.
They really spent a lot of time on the car. As far as I know the service involves oil and filters and a bunch of checks.
But they spend close to 3 hours on it, most of the time spent on servicing the brakes, which looked fine in my opinion. They disassembled all callipers and cleaned alle the parts thoroughly.
I told them in advance that I did not want to have the tires rotated (the winters tires are mounted a couple of weeks ago by @Slick) and that they should leave the diff and transmission alone because I already had it replaced with Motul 300 and I don't want them to top it off with whatever they use.
If you look at the invoice you will see a lengthy generic description which does not involve much more then looking at parts and replacing oil and filters at the sum of $ 460 (Canadian), which I think is too expensive for what it is.

Here's the invoice:

Oh, @fumanchu1, the guy at the counter (shawn I think) mentioned your mishap, twice. I think he is totally fascinated by the event.

Now that is puzzling as hell to me did you get a last name? Maybe he is on the forums? I have two buddies named shawn but they don't know about my wipeout nor should they be working at Otto's, I am perplexed by this. lol
